導演李察連卡特（Richard Linklater ）剛與演員及編劇伊芬鶴健（Ethan Hawke）及茱莉黛比（Julie Delpy）完成拍攝 Before Midnight。此片是繼情留半天（Before Sunrise）及日落巴黎（Before Sunset）後的第三集，講述上集9年後謝西（Jesse，伊芬鶴健）及莎蓮（Celine，茱莉黛比）再度於希臘邂逅。

而 Deadline 報導，三位編劇指：

It's great to be back together again, this time in beautiful Greece to revisit the lives of Celine and Jesse nine years after Jesse was about to miss his flight.

Before Midnight 將於繼連卡特另一作品禮儀師真假殺人事件（Bernie）於2013年上映。
