Casino Royale Opens in UK

Daniel Craig's 007 debut, Casino Royale, opened in UK on Thursday (November 16).

During its first day of release, it sold £1.7 million (HK$25 million) worth of tickets, a 54% increase over comparable sales for the previous Bond film and first-day record-holder, 2002's Die Another Day.

The film will open in Hong Kong on December 21.
